David has over 30 years of experience in Actuarial Consultancy mainly with James Hay and Rowanmoor where he has remained a Director. He is responsible for all actuarial services provided by Embark including holding the appointment of Scheme Actuary to several Defined Benefit Schemes. He also advises several Pre-Paid Funeral Plan Trusts and pioneered the concept of the defined benefit small self-administered scheme (DB SSAS) under the Post A-day simplification landscape.
Alan has over 20 years Financial Services experience including 8 years in the Wealth Management Division of Barclays Bank plc, then pensions actuary at Rowanmoor and now as Principal Actuary at Embark. Alan is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, a member of IFOA’s Pensions Consultations Subcommittee and a past Honorary Secretary of the Association of Member-directed Pension Schemes (AMPS).
Amish has over 20 years of actuarial experience since starting his career with James Hay which has now morphed over that time into Rowanmoor Actuarial Consultancy. He works with the Scheme Actuaries looking after corporate pension schemes, Pre-Paid Funeral Trusts and work associated with solicitors involved in pension sharing on divorce. In addition, he provides actuarial support to all SSAS and FPT clients of the Embark group, completing valuation reports, reconciling client asset allocations, calculating transfer values and producing retirement calculations. Amish also provides technical guidance to scheme administrators and directly to clients.
Richard has over 25 years of calculations experience since starting his career with Scottish Provident, via job transfers and management buyouts over that time becoming Rowanmoor Actuarial Consultancy. He spends his time providing actuarial support to all SSAS and DBSSAS clients of the Embark group, completing valuation reports for triennial and normal funding, calculating fund shares and producing benefit calculations and pension reviews. Richard also provides technical guidance to scheme administrators and financial advisers. Further support is provided to the Sales team associated with the DBSSAS New Business process for scheme funding.
